Welcome to West Haverstraw Elementary School!
Our learning community is comprised of hard-working students, dedicated teachers and staff, and supportive parents. As the principal of West Haverstraw I enjoy working collaboratively with all of the members of our school-community in maintaining high caliber educational programs for our students.
Our emphasis is on three main goals:
. Improving Literacy Skills
. Increasing Math, Science, and Technology Skills
. Developing Respect, Responsibility, and Results

At West Haverstraw, we pride ourselves on the high level of teachers, staff, and parents committed to ensuring the academic and social successes of our students. We encourage students to become actively involved in their own education and in leadership positions in our school. We truly are a learning community.
